Are You an Author? Donate Your Publication to the RDC Library

In the fall of 1986, at the suggestion of the Group in Support of Excellence and with the support of the KITE program, the Red Deer College Library established the Red Deer College Author Collection.

This collection was established to bring together publications by Red Deer College staff, both past and present, and to recognize the contributions made to scholarly research by these staff members. In February 1988, the Library issued a bibliography listing all the items in the collection. At that point, the collection consisted of 90 items authored by 32 individuals. Currently, our collection consists of close to 500 items authored by more than 100 individuals. The list includes monographs, theses, periodical articles, and audiovisual items.

Please consider donating copies of your work to the Library (if you have not already done so), or at least let us know what’s out there. All Red Deer College Authors materials are listed in the NEOS catalogue under author, title, and subject (plus the generic subject, Red Deer College Authors). The collection can also be accessed at

The Library staff hope you will take an interest in this project. Materials or citations can be sent to the Library to the attention of Paul Boultbee ( Thank you for participating in this project.
