by

EBSCO article databases have a new search interface, EBSCOhost 2.0. What does this mean for you, the library user? The changes promise:

  • New simpler basic and advanced searching screens
  • The ability to preview an article or image by mouseover
  • New result list
  • New detail display
  • New search history capability
  • Enhanced personalization features
  • New organization of limiters and expanders
  • New search modes including SmartText
  • URLs that can be bookmarked

This change affects all EBSCO databases, including our most-used database, Academic Search Complete. For a complete listing of EBSCO databases to which our library subscribes, check our alphabetical list of databases.
